Frequently Asked Questions
Are kids allowed?
As much as we love your little ones, this will be a 18+ adults-only event so you can sip, dance, and enjoy the wedding to the fullest!
What should I wear to the wedding?
Think formal with flair. Suits and gowns are welcome, but don’t be afraid of color, texture, or a little drama. Wear what makes you feel radiant, confident, and ready to celebrate!
Note: We aren’t requiring you to wear any certain colors. Avoid white :)
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Rome in October has mostly sunny days with cooler evenings (High of Mid 70’s to Low of Mid 50’s). If you get cold easily, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket.
What should I wear to the Welcome Dinner?
Smart Casual. We want you to be relaxed, comfortable and polished.
What’s the best way to get to Rome?
Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is the main international airport. From there, you can take a taxi, train, or private car to wherever you’re staying.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’d love to celebrate with all our favorite people! If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be noted. If you have any questions, just ask us!
What about the Catholic Jubilee?
The wedding will occur on a week where there are no events for the Jubilee but know that Rome will generally be busier in 2025 due to increased amount of visitors for the Jubilee. Tourist attractions may be booked sooner although our wedding planner has informed us that hotel and flight prices shouldn’t differ substantially. Overall, our advice is to book your travel (stay, activities, etc.) as soon as possible.
Who should I contact if I have questions?
Please contact Jose and/or Simplicio directly for any questions you may have. We will update this page with questions received that are helpful for all guests.
